“My MRI results are perfect. If you want, I’ll release them,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on November 30, while traveling from Florida back to Washington following Thanksgiving.

Trump recently disclosed that he underwent an MRI as part of his annual health checkup on October 10 at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. White House physician Sean Barbabella later stated that the President was in “excellent health,” but did not mention that an MRI had been conducted.

Trump added that he was “not sure which part of his body” had been scanned. “It was just an MRI. Which part? It wasn’t a brain scan because I already took the cognitive test—and I did very well,” he said.

His comments came after Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, a Democrat, suggested that the President is “physically deteriorating” and questioned his “mental capacity.” Walz also posted on X calling on Trump to release his MRI results. The White House previously said the checkup involved advanced imaging, testing, and preventive health evaluations.

“President Trump continues to demonstrate excellent overall health,” the White House statement said, adding that his heart age is 14 years younger than his actual age. It also noted that he received both a flu shot and a COVID-19 booster.

Recent U.S. media analysis, based on Trump’s public schedule compiled by the nonpartisan outlet Roll Call, suggests possible signs of age-related impact on the President’s activities.

The American public has seen less of Trump recently compared to the same point in his first term. His public appearances have become fewer and shorter.

He has traveled less domestically, although his international trips have increased by four compared to 2017. A recent photo of the 79-year-old President with eyes closed in the Oval Office, appearing visibly fatigued, has further fueled public speculation about the burden of age.
