On December 9, President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social that in addition to the “time-consuming, thorough and very boring” medical checkups he undergoes, he has taken three cognitive tests — the most recent one just recently.
“I passed all three tests with perfect scores, certified by many doctors and specialists, most of whom I didn’t even know,” Trump said, adding that very few people achieve such high results, which is why many other presidents do not take the test.
Trump shared the information after The New York Times published an article questioning the 79-year-old president’s health, noting that his schedule is lighter than during his first term and that he sometimes “kept his eyes shut for long periods” during meetings.

“I truly believe that the continuous publication of false stories by the New York Times and other newspapers to smear and degrade me amounts to treason — possibly even a crime against the government,” Trump wrote.
During his first term, Trump took the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) and told reporters he achieved a perfect score. This test, designed to detect cognitive impairment, asks participants to draw a clock, copy a cube, and repeat a sequence of words.
Trump recalled that the examiner gave him a word sequence like “person, woman, man, camera, TV,” then asked him to repeat it — and he repeated it in the correct order.
